the keyboard does not require any software at all. standard drivers work flawless.

The software, like most gaming keyboard brands, is for configuring the leds pattern, possibly macros and of course updates for firmware like security etc…
Ps: I did not buy mine at Mediamarkt, anyway that does not matters.
security updates for a keyboard are rather meh
why? the simple fact that any malware / threat actor would first need to infect the computer itself (or a browser sandbox exploit) and can then attack the keyboard.
the bigger risk is malware within the software to control the LEDs, not the firmware itself.
and yes, you can potentially alter the firmware to insert specific keystrokes at random intervals (e.g. download second stages / scripts), but that attack scenario is highly unlikely. there are easier ways to infect people.
Yes, maybe, regardless its still a problem for some. Also, there are no FW release notes, so obscurity as regard to bug, bug fixes etc

I have been using a ducky keyboard for years with zero issues on multiple devices (desktop and notebooks). simply works as any other keyboard

Macros are recorded on the keyboard itself, same with the RGB settings. seems like you are either confused or blatently spreading lies.
